Job Overview - Power Only Broker:

 

Schneider’s Power Only division is seeking a Logistics Broker in Green Bay, WI to establish and grow a strong book of business by sourcing carrier capacity, negotiating rates to generate revenue growth and ensuring our customers’ freight is delivered on time. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Seek new business opportunities by prospecting new carriers and strengthening relationships with current ones through negotiating rates and closing deals in an open transactional selling environment.   
  • Embrace the fast-paced work environment and take ownership of the freight by thinking critically and making quick decisions to manage freight pick up and ensure on time delivery.  
  • Collaborate with winning teams across the organization and maintain an ongoing trailer pool balance in each market to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote our state-of-the-art technology by coaching carriers on how to use our digital tools to fulfill their business initiatives.  

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Can manage multiple priorities while working with minimal direction.  
  • Have outstanding communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excited to sell digital solutions to carriers and show them how using our state-of-the-art technology can help them improve their business.
