Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Sales Intern in Green Bay to provide support to Schneider’s sales team. The Sales Intern will gain an understanding of transportation, sales and customer service through training opportunities and hands-on work assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply Schneider’s sales process.
- Prospect for new customers.
- Create and track orders.
- Negotiate rates with carriers.
- Communicate with customers on the status of loads.
Internship-specific opportunities:
- Networking events with Schneider associates.
- Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders.
- Business resource groups meetings and events.
- Volunteer activities.
- After-work social gatherings.
Skills and qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree.
- 1 year of previous work experience.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
