Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Bilingual Account Coordinator in Charlotte to work with owner-operator truck drivers who lease a truck from Schneider’s semi-truck leasing business, SFI Trucks and Financing (SFI). The Senior Account Coordinator will provide support from the time a potential client submits an application through the successful completion of their lease.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit and screen client applications and make qualifications decisions.
  • Conduct application reviews and client interviews to determine the likelihood of success.
  • Prepare lease documentation and be involved in client closings.
  • Coach clients to help them maximize their revenue and minimize their operating expenses.
  • Monitor client performance, collect lease payments and ensure compliance with financing contract requirements
  • Assist with special projects for SFI.
  • Provide team coverage by becoming an expert in different areas of the business.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
  • Knowledge of tractor-trailers, trucking operations and/or transportation equipment financing.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
